Are you a Successful Person in your Job Role?

This question is often asked by interviewers to experienced candidates, not freshers.

This is an open-ended question, so the answer to this question is not just YES or NO. If your hiring manager asks you this question, then you are lucky to have the opportunity to demonstrate your dedication, motivation and all the good qualities you have.

This question allows the recruiter to understand how you define success.   The recruiter is trying to evaluate your past achievements and determine whether you will strive to achieve positive results in the future.

 To answer this particular question, You need to have prepared by getting to know what the employer wants and analyzing how your previous achievements and qualities best fit the job.

You should always answer yes and briefly explain why. A good explanation is that you set goals, achieved some of them, and are on the way to achieving others. ЭхIf you answer No to this question, then that sounds as though you do not think highly of yourself.  Give a philosophical answer to this question.

Give examples to demonstrate how you have been successful throughout your career, but do not be arrogant. Success doesn’t necessarily mean ‘winning’, it can often be defined by how successfully you achieved your goals.

Sample Answer:

Yes, I consider myself a successful person, because I have achieved any goals in my life that I set. It doesn't mean I've never faced failure or ever made mistakes, but in the end, I've succeeded in everything I've decided to do.
