This is one of the most difficult questions your interviewers ask. You don't know who the boss is and what style of management he follows. if your answer differs from his or her approach, it may harm your candidacy. Interviewers like to ask this question to see if you have reasonable expectations from the management of a company. They also want to encounter if you use this as an opportunity to complain about previous supervisors or bosses.
Most candidates prefer to tell you what they didn't get from their previous boss. However, this is a common answer. So you need to be aware and don’t fall into that trap. Always make sure you don't complain about them. Focus on the good qualities of the last leader.
Some of the important skills that your supervisor or your boss should possess are: Great communication skills, Disciplined, Be approachable, Value the employees, Be considerate, and Positive attitude. Try to mention some of these points in your answer.
